Harold Jones: The Singer's Drummer ReviewI was told of this book by Harold Jones himself while he was on tour with Tony Bennett in Paris. So I bought it on the Kindle thinking I would know alot of things in it. However I was amazed and astonished when I started reading it. Fom his early days to the present, Harold has been everyone's favorite drummer. I had never thought about him being "the singers drummer", but as I read the book it became so clear that he always has been the drummer that cared more about the singer than displaying his own God given talents. The names of artists in this book as well as current and former Presidents that he has been with is simply amazing.
One part of the book talked about picking up Herbie Hancock and having to explain to his parents when they would have him home. I found that so incredible.
Yes I downloaded the Kindle version but I will probably buy a hard copy so I can have the legend autograph it when I see him. I would recommend that all of you do the same. He is very approachable and you just never know when you will see him.
