In this book, Mark Richardson, who is also Managing Editor for Pitchfork, explains thoroughly the history of The Flaming Lips and the journey that led up to recording Zaireeka. He gives an insightful explanation for each song, but more than that, he ties in his own experiences with The Flaming Lips.
