Clarinet For Dummies (For Dummies (Sports & Hobbies)) ReviewThis is my first "... For Dummies" book, and I am impressed with it so far. It has everything a person would need to know when starting with the clarinet, or picking it up again after decades (like me - 46 years since my old band teacher quit and I dropped out of music). Some of it is pretty basic, but that's what it's supposed to be, isn't it? It is well laid out and organized. The writer has a nice friendly style that's easy to read and learn from. I don't know as how I'd make it my only learning book, but if you got the Rubanks series and combined it with this, I think you could do really well getting up to speed on playing the clarinet.
