Stride Piano Tricks: How to Play Stride Piano ReviewI'm a beginning piano player but have some background in music theory. I bought this book because I love the Stride style and was suprised to find in the first section (music theory and chord construction) a foundation that I will use in all aspects of my playing. If you're a beginner, I suggest that you avoid becoming a player who is limited to playing only printed arrangements, but learn how to make music yourself by creating your own arrangements. Ari Kast's book can put you on that path. His treatment of the subject is clear, concise and very accessible. I'll leave it to others to comment on the quality of the remainder of this book as I am only beginning to learn Stride and do not feel qualified to comment.Stride Piano Tricks: How to Play Stride Piano Overview
