Last time I looked, and I've been playing Trombone for over thirty years, a Trombone solo meant that you have the melody. Beware, Sleepers Wake melody is written for the piano, not for Trombone. If you look for the melody in the Trombone book portion of this collection, you will be greatly disappointed. It's not there. If you want to take the extra time to transpose it so that you can play it on Trombone, be aware that you will be echoed by the piano, supposedly the "accompaniment."
